It is with sadness that the death of Martyn has been announced, his funeral having taken place in Wales. Martyn was a farmer who was a member and also served as chairman of NLD Refs. He became the CB rep for NLD at the RFU. He was involved in the discussion and negotiations when the game became professional. He was also a leading figure in securing England’s hosting of the 2015 World Cup. He was recognised by Sir Bill Beaumont who paid his respects on the RFU website.Our thoughts are with his family.
